Oregon Lakes Association ....a voice for quiet waters. |
The Oregon Lakes Association Board of Directors are elected from the General Membership on two-year, staggered terms. Elections are held at the annual fall conference through an open nomination process. The Board manages the financial affairs of the association, holds the annual conference, hosts special events such as Harmful Algal Bloom Stakeholder meetings, publishes the Lake Wise newsletter, manages a graduate student scholarship program, conducts outreach activities, and advocates for our lakes and reservoirs.
As the Board generally only meets in person once a year and logistics are largely handled via email and monthly teleconferences, positions on the OLA Board of Directors are readily accessible to members from all corners of the state. If you'd like to learn more about our organization and what we do, read our By-laws and 2020 Workplan. If you're interested being nominated for a seat and serving on the Board, contact one of our current Board Members below.
